Local volunteers care for St Paul’s graveyard, helping keep graves accessible and reconnecting families with the people remembered there.

Ongoing maintenance

The Kirklees Payback team visits every few weeks, weather permitting. Health and safety requirements limit the equipment they can use, and they cannot undertake work on individual graves. Their help with wider maintenance sits alongside the continuing work of local volunteers.
